I can feel summer getting closer; it’s definitely in the air. The days are getting longer, the sun is shining brighter, the air is getting warmer, leaves on trees are becoming livelier…ahh, how promising! Summer brings nothing but adventure and excitement our way, doesn’t it?

During summer months one gets play outside and enjoy outdoor activities after work or on the weekends, and this is great because we are coming out of colder and gloomier months, where some of these activities are hard or impossible to do. So being able to switch things up and have the option of living different experiences in our own cities can be extremely refreshing.

I personally love to go on bike rides, to run on trails, to hike with friends, to bring picnics to parks, to take long night walks around the neighborhood, to go to farmer’s markets, to go outdoor shopping…and guys, my list goes on and on and on!

One of my all-time favorites though, is to go chill on my balcony on a late summer afternoon…and when I do this, I always bring a cold treat along with me. Balcony time is my time to relax, unwind and meditate; it seriously feels like medicine. And guess what type of cold treat I like o bring with me? You guessed it, a HEALTHY BOWL! (Gosh, I love those things. Can you tell I am a little obsessed with them? They are just so good!)

Today I am sharing a super simple, yet scrumptious, Simple Peach Healthy Bowl recipe with you guys to prepare this weekend. It is thirst quenching and delicious. And the cool part is, you only need two basic ingredients for its creation: bananas and peaches!

This Simple Peach Healthy Bowl will brighten your morning or your afternoon. Simple, refreshing and nourishing, an amazing sweet treat.

Serves: 1 serving
  • 2 organic bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 2 cups organic frozen sliced peaches
  • Toppings: fresh sliced strawberries, chopped nuts and seeds, and honey​
  1. Add bananas and peaches to a food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Transfer mixture to a bowl and add toppings. Enjoy right away.
