It’s right at the end of summer when I start craving cozy fireplaces, chunky sweaters, cooler temperatures and ALL-THINGS-PUMPKIN.
Yup. I am one of those people who shamelessly loves to make pumpkin everything during the fall months…breads, cookies, muffins, soups, salads, you name it. And if I’m being super honest with you, sometimes the pumpkin obsession does not end until Christmas time in my household (and let’s just say it’s not because of my husband). Is that crossing the line? Having pumpkin all the way till Christmas? NOPE. Not in my book. And lucky for me, I can still go for canned pumpkin puree once grocery stores start running out of the real thing. See? I got this all figured out.
My pumpkin cravings happen every year like clockwork. Sort of like teenagers crave school by the beginning of August after a long summer. No? Not the same? Well, you know what I mean.
