Say hello to my go-to protein smoothie!

I have one of these bad boys every day, seven days a week. My husband and I both do, actually. It is THAT good. This creamy frozen treat is one of my favorite reasons to get out of bed every morning, because it wakes me up, feeds me (45 g. protein!) and gives me all the feels.

It’s very easy to make. Only takes three ingredients, about three minutes and one blender to prepare. I mean, it doesn’t get much easier than that, now does it?

My go-to protein smoothie is literally the only thing I take prior to my workouts. It gives me enough energy to power through my workouts and doesn’t make me feel bloated or too full. After my workout, I come home and eat a nice meal, of course, and that meal typically consists of a large salad along with some kind of grilled protein. It feels great to eat clean, doesn’t it?
