These Sweet and Spicy Asian Bison Meatballs are delicious and very juicy. They go well with any starch or vegetable side dish. A paleo approved recipe!

Ingredients
For the meatballs:
1 lb. ground bison
2 eggs, whisked
⅔ cups almond flour
3 green onions, chopped
1 tbsp roasted red chili paste
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tsp minced garlic
½ tsp sea salt
½ tsp black pepper
Sesame oil, for frying
For the sauce:
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice cooking wine
1 tbsp organic maple syrup
1 tsp coconut aminos
½ tsp roasted red chili paste
¼ tsp chili powder
For garnishing:
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 green onion, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine meatball ingredients, except the sesame oil. Form 10 meatballs and set on a large plate.
Place a skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil. Once oil is hot, brown meatballs, about 4 minutes each side. Carefully transfer meatballs to baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
While meatballs bake, make the sauce. In a small mixing bowl, whisk all sauce ingredients. Set aside. Remove meatballs from oven, top with sauce, sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve right away.
