Description

This Balsamic Mustard Roasted Brussels Sprouts has a great combination of flavors, and pairs well with any grilled protein or entree of choice.


Ingredients

For the brussels sprouts

  • 2 lb brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 white onion, sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp grape seed oil
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

For the glaze

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F.
  2. Add brussels sprouts, onion, garlic and raisins to a baking dish. Drizzle grape seed oil, sprinkle with sea salt and pepper and toss to coat. Bake for 25 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, mustard and honey. Set vinaigrette aside.
  4. Remove Brussels sprouts from oven, let cool slightly and drizzle vinaigrette on top. Serve right away.
