Description

This 5-Minute Paleo Salsa is made in a food processor in less than 5 minutes. It can be made year round and the results are consistently delicious every single time.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can of organic diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of organic diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1/2 purple onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1 jalapeño or serrano pepper
  • 1/2 cup of cilantro
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp of honey

Instructions

  1. Pour canned tomatoes in a food processor, add in onion, jalapeño pepper, garlic and cilantro; process until combined.
  2. Add in lime juice, cumin, sea salt and honey, and process until desired salsa consistency is reached.
  3. Taste test and add more salt or cumin if needed. Refrigerate for an hour or more before eating so the flavors can set.

Notes

Keeps fresh in the refrigerator for 1 week. Keeps fresh in the freezer for 1 month.
