  1. I’m new to all things paleo (just stumbled on your website while researching for more info). I love what I’ve found so far (via your website) and am eager to start (my family will be shocked). These waffles look amazing, however I’m allergic to cacao & all products containing chocolate. Will the recipe be okay if I were to just eliminate the allergic ingredients? Another question I would like to ask (if you don’t mind), I’m wondering the affect this diet will have on individuals with diabetes. Four of my 8 children are Type 1 Diabetic.
Thank you in advance for your response and for providing this amazing website for newbies like me to learn from.

    1. Hi there! Yes, juts go ahead and remove the chocolate…you can replace it with any other flavor of preference, like lemon (using lemon peel), pumpkin (using a bit of pumpkin puree), or something as simple as berries (using a few blueberries or blackberries in the mixture). Paleo will help stabilize your sugar levels (keeping insulin spikes under control), so I think that you’ll see positive results in regards with your Diabetes.
